Participation in the network of web sites of The Language Business

As a language school, recruiting students from all over the world requires some functions to be performed, to get (international) students to enrol at your school:

1) Marketing/ promotion. This comprises of all activities required to find people who are interested in your offerings, in a way that the possible students IDENTIFY themselves as possible clients (= leads)

2) Provide those that have requested further information (= leads) with a brochure and probably contacting them to see how you can help the students in both their decision making process (your country, your school or go with a competitor) and assist them in their enrolment process.

3) Administrative tasks. Send out the invoice, making sure payment has been received, sending out the confirmation papers with required further information and co-ordination with the academic and housing staff of your school.

The services of The Language Business are limited to the first step; IDENTIFICATION OF PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS

How do we do that?

1) Search engine traffic. The webs we have (in several popular languages) rank very well in search engine results for “language learning” relevant

2) Quality traffic: We do NOT use any other forms to get traffic to our websites. This guarantees the quality of all traffic that we have on our websites; no “artificial boosts of traffic” with the sole purpose of getting “who ever” to request a brochure, simply because it is free to do so.

3) Further qualification through On-page information. Visitors select which language they want to learn. Then they select country/destination. On all of our websites, the visitors can then already find information on your school(s), the courses offered, the accommodation provided, your activities and excursions and prices (a further check point to eliminate those that would not be able to afford to study at your school).

4) Brochure requests. Those visitors that want to have your brochure sent to their address can fill out a form to request such. You will then have enough information on this possible client (= lead) to “take it from there”.

VALID LEADS

- Defined countries. Only for leads that come from countries that you have indicated to be interested in (you can –and should- block countries from which you do NOT wish to receive brochure requests (leads). Visa problems, lack of conversion as experienced by you in the past are amongst other popular reasons to “block out” countries.

- NEW prospective clients. If we send you someone that you already have in your database, you can let us know (within a week or two, NOT after 6 months) and we’ll remove that lead from our invoice. Anybody sending in a brochure request form more then once, will thus also be invoiced only once.

How many schools will be represented in the network of The Language Business webs?

The right balance needs to be struck, between “choice for the visitors” and “quality leads” for the schools. Therefore, we will look to represent a maximum of 5 organisations per country.

Good to know by the way, that we operate on the policy to MENTION the names of the schools we work with, as we see such as a quality ingredient for both the visitors (TRUST; no secrets, they can go to the web of the schools through search engines after visiting us and an INDICATOR OF QUALITY that we find it important to mention the schools’ names) as well as for the schools (branding).

How many leads should I expect to receive per month?

The amount of leads we will be able to send you will of course depend on:

- the popularity of the language your are teaching

- the popularity of the destination(s) you offer

- our (present and future) rankings in the search engines, for terms that are specifically interesting for you.

Having said that, a less popular language in a less popular destination should normally expect to get between 5 and 15 brochure requests (leads) per month. A medium popular language in a medium popular destination should expect to receive between 50 and 100 leads a month. The very popular languages in popular destinations should expect to be forwarded between 100 and 200 leads per month.

How to participate?

Send an e-mail to info@thelanguagebusiness.com indicating the name of the school and the location or locations you’d like to see represented in the network of sites. And we will send you a detailed proposal.
